My fears and hopes for the next year

One of my biggest fear is school. I am afraid of exams. I think that this year, it will be very difficult, because we are III.G. What it means? It means that next year, we will do "maturita", so now, we have to prepare. Also we have to catch up with things, we didn't do last years.
Other thing is that we have to decide, what we want to do. We have to start thinking about subjects, which we will want to take exam of. It is also difficult, because there are so many subjects (or there aren't any subjects), which we want to take exam of.
And my hopes? Mainly, I hope, I will survive this year with lot of fun, good health, good report, and at ease. That's my biggest hope. And there are also a lot of smaller hopes, hopes for every day. To go on concert, to finish homework in time, to my mother launder my favourite T-shirt on monday, to don't forget, what I wanted to do on Sunday, to buy something, want I long for...
And if there are the biggest hopes and the smaller hopes, there have to be also middle hopes. Well, my middle hopes are to continue playing with my band, to have an own concert with them, to continue drawing and painting, to continue writing... To continue doing things, which I had to stop doing, because of doing other things like... writing homeworks (joke). Yes, I have want to do lot of things, but if I will know the way how to do them all, it will be OK. So my last hope is to find this way...
In conclusion - I have some hopes, I have some fears, but I hope, I will see like my fears disappears...

Dear Hedvika – good job – as always! Your essay has a good structure, it is well planned. It is also very interesting to read about your hopes and fears for the next year. I like especially the idea of small and middle hopes.
Be careful when using commas – remember that in English there are less commas than in Czech. Basically, write commas only before “because” and “but.” Do not use contracted forms! Please try to remember the correct usage of prepositions in the situations you used. Good luck with your band, writing and painting  (Can we hear some of the band music this year at the school sukot festival?)
