The Barber Whose Uncle Had His Head Bitten Off by a Circus Tiger

1, Because he had a too long hair and it didn't look good. Or (maybe) it looked so good, so they started to begrudge him, so they told him to get a haircut.
2, We don't know his job. But in the story is said, that he was maybe a farmer, a blacksmith or a philosopher...so he probably wasn't originally proffesional barber.
3, He offered him a cup of coffee. Then he narated him the story about his poor uncle Misak.
4, He didn't like his new haircut, but he liked the barber, who narated him the interesting story. So he started to looking forward to listen it again. (Although it meaned that he would have this haircut again.)
5, Because he was weary of the world.
6, Because of the story... (I wrote it yet in question number 4...)
7, Yes, I liked the story...Poor Misak. I would never put my had into the mouth of tiger, lion...or some other animal... I like the style how is the story written...Although I didn't understood every phrase, I understood the story...so I'm glad that I didn't need to stop reading often and look for the meanings...

Invitation & answer

Dear Sarah,
This year, we are preparing our own Sukkot party. It's going to take a place at Abraham's house, 10/15 2008. We're going to start at 11 AM building Suka. Than we're going to cook the dinner and prepare the other things. Would you like to help us with preparing it?
The party is beginning officially at 2 PM. We hope, you don't have any prior engagement and you will come at 11 AM. You will need some reserve clothes and some repellent, because we will go to the wood. You know it there... lot of swamps, lot of ixodes... But I promise you - it'll be fun!
Than we will cook the dinner. And than...finally... the party will start!
So, that's all we can write now. We hope, you will come. We are looking forward to seeing you!

P.S. You have to come, you can't say "No"!

Love Judith, Aaron, Adam, Rebeca and Abraham

Dear friends,
Thank you for your kind invitation. I thought, I won't be able to come, because of mothers birthday. But yesterday, she told me, that she will celebrate it this monday. So I will come!
And I would like to help you with preparing it.
I'm afraid, I don't have a repellent at home. And I don't know...it will be better to take my wellingtons or my waders? I don't, how deep are the swamps. When I was there last time, it was about 40 centimeters. But it was 3, 4 years ago!
Also I have the other problem, I don't know the adresse... It sounds funny, but every time I visited Abraham, I didn't see the street sign! So if you will be so kind, can you meet me at bus station? Please.
Once again, thank you very much for your invitation!

P.S. Give my love to Rebeca's sister, I didn't see her for a long time.

Love, Sarah

"Fears and hopes" corrected

One of my biggest fears is school. I am afraid of exams. I think that this year it will be very difficult, because we are III.G. What does it means? It means that next year, we will do graduation exam, so now, we have to prepare. Also we have to catch up with things, we didn't do last years.
Other thing is that we have to decide what we want to do. We have to start thinking about subjects, which we will want to take exam of. It is also difficult, because there are so many subjects (or there aren't any subjects), which we want to take exam of.
And my hopes? Mainly, I hope, I will survive this year with lot of fun, good health, good report, and at ease. That is my biggest hope. And there are also a lot of smaller hopes, hopes for every day. To go for a concert, to finish homework on time, not to forget what I wanted to do on Sunday, to buy something, what I long for...
And if there are the biggest hopes and the smaller hopes, there have to be also middle hopes. Well, my middle hopes are to continue playing with my band, to have an own concert with them, to continue drawing and painting, to continue writing... To continue doing things, which I had to stop doing, because of doing other things like... writing homeworks (joke). Yes, I have desire to do lot of things, but when I will know the way to do them all, it will be OK. So my last hope is to find this way...
In conclusion - I have some hopes, I have some fears, but I hope, I will see my fears disappears...

My fears and hopes for the next year

One of my biggest fear is school. I am afraid of exams. I think that this year, it will be very difficult, because we are III.G. What it means? It means that next year, we will do "maturita", so now, we have to prepare. Also we have to catch up with things, we didn't do last years.
Other thing is that we have to decide, what we want to do. We have to start thinking about subjects, which we will want to take exam of. It is also difficult, because there are so many subjects (or there aren't any subjects), which we want to take exam of.

To go on concert, to finish homework in time, to my mother launder my favourite T-shirt on monday, to don't forget, what I wanted to do on Sunday, to buy something, want I long for...
